Reader Services Supervisor in Bodleian Japanese Library and the KB Chen China Centre Library

This post requires a flexible, approachable, and dynamic individual to assist in the day-to-day running of the Bodleian Japanese Library and Bodleian KB Chen Library. The incumbent will play a proactive part in the delivery of high-quality information services while supporting the Bodleian Japanese Librarian in a range of activities and clerical tasks.

As a member of a small team of staff, the post-holder is required to work collaboratively within East Asian team. They will be expected to play a key role in projects to improve the Library whilst carrying out a wide range of administrative duties. This requires the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload whilst upholding the Library’s strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.

The post holder will be based in the Bodleian Japanese Library and the KB Chen China Centre Library. This is a permanent, full-time post, working 36.5 hours per week.
